3:
I am having problems saving my output style, or after saving the style I am getting errors. How do I fix this? |
Answer:
Your user account may not have proper permissions to the style folder location, which can cause errors. Your network administrators may have also restricted access to this location.
Note: In Windows Vista, without disabling Vista security features, users will not be able to modify or add files to the default directory.
Here are the steps to resolve the problem:
- Quit Reference Manager
-
Open the current Reference Manager folder and copy the style files from the
Styles folder from:
Single User:
C:\Program Files\Reference Manager (n)\Styles
Where (n) is the version number.
Network:
C:\Program Files\Reference Manager (n) Network\Program\Styles
Place a copy of this folder in your "Documents" (called "My Documents" in Windows 2000/XP) folder, or any location where you have full read-write access. When working with styles, click the "..." button to browse to this location.
