Thomson ResearchSoft Releases RefViz 2 for Mac and Windows

Data visualization tool from bibliographic software maker retrieves information simultaneously from multiple data sources

Now users can search for references within RefViz using Reference Retriever, the new search interface that queries multiple data sources at the same time. Enter the query once, and Reference Retriever identifies and retrieves relevant references from each data source, removes duplicates, and automatically creates the data visualization. Reference Retriever saves RefViz users time by eliminating the need to perform the same search on multiple data sources. Other enhancements in RefViz provide more flexibility in handling visualizations and make data analysis easier for users.

RefViz provides researchers with a powerful way to explore reference collections visually for major themes and topics. Users can evaluate large results sets from online searches quickly.
